~“Every day is a precious, valuable and respectable gift and a miracle for me.”
This book is a collection of articles and illustrations by Guo Tu C.T MLS.
It is about the author’s gentle feelings, lovely memories and subtle reminiscences about Buddha and Buddhism.
Some of the articles and illustrations of this author have been published in several Buddhist journals (National and International magazines).
The Proper Dharma, or the teachings of the Buddha, persists in the world through the practice of its followers who conform to these teachings by studying, obeying, and implementing the Precepts.
By diligently following the ethical principles like the Five Precepts, which are rules for moral and ethical behavior, Buddhists uphold the Proper Dharma and ensure its constant existence in the world.
Ancient people have commented:
“Our life is just a single breath;
When we exhale and cannot inhale again;
Everything is over. We move on to another lifetime.”
Let us live delightedly with the Buddha’s Proper Dharmas, cultivate the Buddha -nature in ourselves and enable others to do so.
Our lives are essentially like the exhortation of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva:
“This day is already done, our lives are that much less;
*Every day, we are like fish in a drier, shrinking, depleted pond. What joy is there in this?
Great Assembly!
We should be diligent and vigorous as if our own heads were at stake, at risk.
Only be mindful of Impermanence and be careful not to be lax.”
May all sentient beings realize their Buddha-nature and partake in the merit of listening or reading the Buddha’s Proper Dharma.
This book has a lot of nice illustrations, they are impressive, meaningful and stunning, really complementing more meaning to the content of the book.
It is really attractive for young Buddhists.
All of our merit and virtue, we transfer to all Living Beings throughout the Dharma-Realm and the limits of Space as well as to our Karmic Creditors from beginningless kalpas in the past in order to rebirth together in the Western Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha.
