The Count of Monte Cristo – Unabridged

Imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, Edmond Dantes is sent to the remote Chateau D’If to rot in a cell for his remaining days. But when he learns from a fellow prisoner that a valuable treasure is hidden on the Isle of Monte Cristo, Dantes becomes determined to escape, lay hands upon the treasure and then exact his revenge on the three men who sent him to die in prison.

From the author of “The Three Musketeers” comes the ultimate tale of injustice and retribution from the greatest adventure writer in history. It is presented here as it was originally serialized in the 1840’s by Alexandre Dumas Père.
