Sam’s First Soccer Practice

If you have a young child that loves soccer and is learning to read then this is the book for you!

Learn about Sam’s first experience of soccer practice. Sam was always the star when playing soccer in the neighborhood, but joining a real team with a real coach can be a different story. Sam now has to develop his listening and learning skills so that he can be part of a team and not just play soccer by himself or with his friend. For the first time, Sam will take instruction from a coach who teaches him about the need for teamwork. Sam also relies on his friendship with Ben to get some advice and encouragement.

The book touches upon the themes of:

• Teamwork – playing in a team requires you to work together
• Persistence – if things don’t go the way you planned, don’t give up!
• Learning – listening and learning from a coach for the first time
• Encouragement – always have someone you can turn to for advice
• and of course, simply having fun!

This book will help your child develop their reading skills on a topic they love – soccer! Order your copy today!
