Salt In The Wound

In a small Maine fishing village, murder is definitely not on the menu…

Tammy Harper left the corporate rat race behind to run the Daily Catch Café in cozy Harborview, Maine—serving coffee, catching up with locals, and enjoying the peaceful harbor view. But when wealthy summer resident Dennis Walsh is found dead on his yacht, Tammy’s quiet coastal life takes another deadly turn.

The police say it’s poison. The town says good riddance. But nothing about Dennis’s death adds up.

His wife stood to inherit everything thanks to a convenient prenup. His brother lost a fortune in a bad business deal. The yacht club manager was hiding financial secrets. And his assistant had filed a harassment lawsuit days before he died. Everyone had motive. Everyone had access. And everyone is hiding something.

When someone breaks into Tammy’s café and a shadowy figure watches her apartment, she realizes the killer knows she’s asking questions. And they want her to stop.

Armed with good coffee, a talent for listening, and help from harbor master Sawyer Grant, Tammy finds herself untangling corruption that reaches deeper than anyone suspected. But in a town where summer people and locals are already at odds, exposing the truth could tear Harborview apart.
