Never leave me again

In a green and vibrant corner of Friuli, among nature-filled paths, city streets, and the hallways of a school, an extraordinary return takes place: Jesus is among us once again, this time with the face of a nineteen-year-old boy. With the simplicity of a smile and the depth of his teachings, Jesus enters the lives of his classmates. He speaks of love, justice, and peace. But the world is not ready. And not all of his friends are either. Barabbas, an aggressive and feared bully, openly challenges him. Judas, torn and ambiguous, wavers between admiration and envy. By Jesus’s side, however, are Magdalene, his best friend, and Peter, the most loyal among his companions. Along with them are James, John, and other teenagers who begin to see the world through new eyes. This time, Jesus would like to stay, but the shadows of the past stretch into the present. And his destiny may once again be put to the test. The Smiles of Jesus – Never Leave Me Again is a timely and profound novel that blends spirituality, friendship, rebellion, and hope. A story that invites us to ask: What if salvation were already here, hidden in the simplest of gestures?
