Moving North

Perry is doing everything she can to keep her family together. It’s not enough.

Ever since her mother died, Perry has been holding on tight—to her memories, to her family, and to North, the twenty-five-year-old horse she loves more than anything.

But holding everything together is exhausting.

Despite Perry’s best efforts, her little brother is struggling, her stepfather is overwhelmed, and North’s future is uncertain. The busy city that once felt like home is wearing all of them down.

When Perry unexpectedly inherits a house in the friendly small town of Perryside, a fresh start could be exactly what her family needs.

There’s just one problem.

Leaving means letting go of the last place she shared with her mother—and Perry isn’t sure she’s ready.

As she navigates new friendships, first love, family challenges, and life in a town where everyone knows everyone, Perry must decide whether moving forward means leaving the past behind—or carrying it with her in a new way.

A heartwarming story of family, resilience, horses, and fresh starts.
