Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Free Throws

Going head-to-head with your best friend is never easy, on or off the court. Told in a dual point of view, best friends Josie and Cami have to navigate friendship, rivalry, and first love in this fun female athlete 2000’s nostalgic YA from USA Today bestselling author Janette Rallison.

Josie likes gorgeous basketball team captain Ethan Lancaster, but she can never do or say the right thing in front of him. If that wasn’t bad enough, it seems like Ethan is only interested in her best friend Cami, when Cami isn’t even trying to get his attention. Or is she?

Cami dreams of winning her basketball team’s coveted MVP award, but as hard as she tries, she can’t seem to improve her game. Worse, Josie looks like a shoo-in for the honor even though she’s barely interested in basketball. Or is she?

Going head-to-head with your best friend is never easy, on or off the court. This wholesome YA is perfect for fans of Kasie West and Alexandra Moody.
