Just a Beta

Em was born to one side of her parents’ marriages, and things didn’t get better from there for quite some time. Handed over to act as a servant for her omega sister’s pack, she spends days in terror and nights in pain.

In hospital, a helpful associate from her past hires a lawyer, and he hires a private investigator and a forensic accountant. At that point, Em has everything she needs. She just needs to learn to trust it.

Reuniting with her half-brother from her hospital bed brings a heartbreaking pain to her. He and his pack are doing well, and when she is finally out of hospital, he is the neighbour to one of her rapidly forming pack. Now she has a sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and four nieces. Family just got big fast.

Emhara’s vision of the true nature of the world around her translates into her art, and now that she is with her new mates, art is about to become her life, her joy, and her future. They are with her every step of the way.
