Chosen By The Dragon Kings

They say the Chosen One will save us.

They lied.

I’m the last Fae alive. The sole survivor of a genocide that painted the streets red and left the kingdom in ruins. In the Dragon Kingdom, my existence is a death sentence.

My grandmother’s bedtime stories about the prophesied savior who would restore our magic? Fairy tales for the desperate. The Oracle’s prediction? A cruel joke for the extinct.

So when three dragon kings discover what I am, I expect execution.

Instead, they claim I’m theirs. The one from the prophecy. The key to binding our shattered world back to its magic.

They don’t want a savior. They want a weapon. A sacrifice. A Fae girl they can control while their hatred for my kind demands my blood.

I won’t be their pawn. I won’t be their salvation.

But fate doesn’t ask permission. And the dragons? They don’t negotiate.

They’ll bind me. Break me. Claim me as theirs.

And when the darkness comes for us all, I’ll have to decide: let the world burn, or become their mate.

Being Fae means death. Being the Chosen One means worse. And I’m about to become both.
