Attractions

From the starry-eyed romanticism of youth, to rekindled passions, and the pure practicality of Portwenn’s more seasoned paramours, “Attractions” abound in the ninth book of the popular Battling Demons series. And coinciding with a bit of Cornish spellworking, the village’s doctor is pulled, unwittingly, into Cupid’s embrace as well.

But all is not hearts and flowers in Portwenn. Amidst an influenza outbreak that ravages the village, a mystery is solved. The attending revelation regarding his recent past leaves Martin struggling to reconcile his anger with his empathy for another man’s paternal love.
